Partner with Hope Unexpected to walk (or run) the Riverbank Run to support West Michigan single moms!

WALK (or run) alongside young, single moms in your community by joining our Amway Riverbank Run!
We challenge each person who joins our team to find individuals to sponsor them, with a $250 minimum sponsorship per adult walker/runner or $300/family. This money will go directly to Hope Unexpected so we can continue to nurture, empower and equip single moms in our community!

Sign-Up to Participate
- Visit Amway River Bank Run (runsignup.com) for start times, staging and more information! Please scroll down for detailed instructions on how to participate and support the women and children of Hope Unexpected.
- If you choose you walk in the Community Walk 5K, NO bicycles and scooters are permitted. Baby joggers/strollers, child carrier front/back packs, wagons and leashed dogs are allowed. Please line up at the back of the group and be courteous of other walkers
**Check-in begins on Friday, May 12 from 11 AM – 8 PM at the Sports Fitness Expo – 303 Monroe Ave NW or Saturday, May 13 (race day) beginning at 6 AM at DeVos Place
How to join us…
Step 1: Visit Hope Unexpected’s sign-up page for the Amway Riverbank Run by clicking HERE.
Step 2: Click “Join Team”, then fill out your personal information.
**At this time, you can also choose to add co-registrants (i.e. husband, wife, children, etc.)
Step 3: Rally your friends, family and community to sponsor you! Our goal is for each adult runner to raise $250 or for each family to raise $300 for Hope Unexpected.
You can make a donation OR direct your sponsors to give on behalf of you, by clicking HERE.
Please Note: Since Hope Unexpected is not one of the Amway Riverbank Run’s official charity partners, we are unable to accept donations through their platform. You MUST give your gift via the link above directly to Hope Unexpected.

Step 4: On the day BEFORE race day, Friday, May 12 between 11 AM and 8 PM, Check-in at the Sports & Expo Center | 303 Monroe Ave NW the day before the race.
Make sure to visit Hope Unexpected’s booth at the expo to pick-up your purple run shirt to show your support of single moms on race day!
Step 5: Arrive on Race Day – Saturday, May 13 at your specific run/walk’s start-time and starting place.
Don’t forget to wear your Hope Unexpected purple race shirt to show your support of single moms and kiddos in West Michigan!
